The main day for activities at the 2015 Plein Air Camp Hill Arts Festival is Saturday, May 30th. There will be plenty of interesting and informative workshops on this day, including a sun watching workshop, presented by Lou Thieblemont. Using a special telescope to look at the sun, participants can actually see the fiery red balls on the sun's surface in real time. Other events we have confirmed include pottery, face-painting, glass blowing, painting and silver-smithing. We will soon be listing a full schedule on the website.
On the refreshments side, Grandpa's Country Catering will have a pig roast and offer pulled pork with all the sandwich fixings along with their antique homemade ice cream maker, which will be churning throughout the day. Grandpa's will work again in partnership with Ameriprise (Penica & Associates) and the Camp Hill Fire Department, which will provide drinks, burgers and hot dogs. Food will be served along 24th Street under a tent from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
